The Island of Maui

This if the view from the back of The Ritz. I was a bit impatient and didn't want to wait for the stroller to pass. Nice huh??

I couldn't wait to get my camera out for some action shots. The waves were quite impressive and the surfers weren't so bad either. Fun...

Whale watching...momma and calf...Really wanted to get some breaching but the season is ending and i guess i was lucky I could get this...

The picture above is a little island off the Northshore of Maui.

The "Road to Hana" was beautiful and long. We were on the road for about 9 hours and saw very different views of the island of Maui.

There were lots of waterfalls but we were very surprised how little water was flowing. Many of the streams were bone dry!!
Black Sand Beach..Past Hana seems like a different island all together. Lots of rolling hills!!

Our first 2 days in KoOlina have been great. Saturday night was too cloudy to catch a sunset but last night was beautiful.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing another super sweet couple at the beach for their wedding. Although we feared the weather wouldn't cooperate, the rain held out till the end of the reception and everything went perfect. Carrie and Dan, I hope you enjoy the few pictures I'm posting and I promise I'll start working on your images as soon as I get back from Hawaii!!

A Fall Wedding

The Bride wanted a fall wedding and the weather couldn't have been better. The sky was blue, the leaves were changing and the church had all the right details. Robin and Jay had all their friends and family join them in celebrating their special day at the church and the reception where they truly did dance the night away!!

This was such a fun photo session as most of it was planned by Jack! It was full of all the things little boys like to do. I hadn't seen so many seagulls at the beach in so long. We just had to make them fly...of course it made for great pictures too...

A Natural Beauty...

This weekend was quite busy with the season upon us. Photo sessions are being squeezed in for Christmas cards and since the weather is always a factor, I rearranged this one and i'm so glad I did! As I told her mom, she's a natural in front of the camera and it showed at the beach that day. Of course, she already knew that...

Home for the Holidays...

It's that time of year when kids come home from college, family comes in from out of town and more memories are made. This family is dear to my heart as I've watched the girls grow up and have enjoyed so many good times with the family. I'm as always thankful for good friends and am so glad to have had the chance to capture them all together during this holiday!!
